Komo`s Pizzaria in Alpena

I’m a truck driver and am waiting to unload here in Alpena. I ordered a large meat lover. Delivery was fast and pizza is excellent. I highly recommend. They delivered right to my truck. I know who’s earned my business everytime I come here to deliver. Thank you.

Best pizza in Alpena

The customer service at Komo's Pizza is what makes me a faithful customer. The staff is extremely nice and are always willing to go above and beyond the expectations of their customers! The pizza is incredible and the wings are to die for!

Awesome pizza, very clean and friendly service. My favorite part is that you get to watch them prepare your food. Best pizza in Alpena hands down.Update: This review was before I owned Komos in case anyone is wondering why the owner would 5 star his own business lol.I liked komos pizza so much that we made a purchase offer while eating one evening. What a little community gem, couldn't be happier to own my favorite pizza stop.

Fast friendly service, inside and for delivery! Great atmosphere! They offer a variety of different food items. Always fresh and tasty! They run great specials for lunch and dinner. Best little pizza place in town!

Great crust, very flavorful pizza

The pies here are delicious and locally famous. The place for local pie for certain.

I have ran the same pizza place in Grand blanc for 7 years and work in a mom and pop pizzeria in fenton (down in the southern part of MI) and this was by far the best pizza I have ever had. The crust was amazing sauce was very delicious not acidic(sp). I am glad my family got to stop in this little personable place we will be back again next time we're in town

OMG.... a Komo's hogie is a touch of perfection.... ham, pepperoni, extra sauce, extra matsarella cheese, mushrooms, hot... then lettus tomato just before they wrap it up!!... a masterpiece every time!

The pizza was really good. The wait wasn't bad. I'm giving it 3 stars because there's only like 3 or 4 tables to sit and eat at. But overall it was good and I'd definitely recommend it👍🏻🌟

amazing food and affordable

There blt pizza is the best in town there fresh veggies on it make it the hoggies and boneless wings are also just as amazing. My family orders from there atleast twice a month staff is always friendly n there punch cards are a great way to earn free hoggies keep up the great work guys

Stopped after fireworks for a snack (thanks for working the holidays). Even though they were completely slammed with orders, I got fast service with Top quality ingredients and a perfect crust. Loved the Meat Lovers. Wish they were in my home town.

The crust and cheese were perfect. Good service that was fast. The sauce was slightly bland, but overall tasty pizza. I would have given 5 stars if the mushrooms were fresh.

The pizza is ok, but took two hours for delivery when they estimated 30-45 minutes. We called after an hour and fifteen minutes and the lady on the phone let us know it would be ready and leaving with the driver shortly, no apology or effort to explain. 45 minutes after that, the delivery woman showed up leisurely walking up to our door and gave me the total, (again, no apology or explanation).I remember now why we stopped ordering from here. The pizza is ok if you can wait, but customer service goes a long way. Neither the person who answered the phone nor the delivery woman had the sense or courtesy to apologize. I'll stick to ordering JJ's in the future for better pizza and fast and friendly service.

Service and quality have slipped. Will not be ordering anymore. Pic up time was given and my food hadn't been started. Lady argued about my otder time. Waited 45 minutes more. Not good.

This is absolutely tutely the best rat themed pizzaria north of Toledo. Extremely pleasant pizza. I order the sausage pizza and tell my young siblings it's rat pieces. The bread sticks we affectionately call "rat-tails". I love you komo!

Best pizza in town.

Would love to have tried this pizza, however no one seemed to want to take our order. Shouldn't even give one star however, as I have no service to rate. Left and went to eat elsewhere ☹

I've never had a bad pizza from there. I just wish they used fresh mushrooms 😔

I had great service today and the food was good. I wish they opened earlier sometimes.

Slow

This is one of my favorite pizza places in town, I've never had a bad experience and every time I get a pizza it remains consistent with how it's prepared, you know how it is sometimes where you might get a pizza from a place one time and it's perfect but you go back another time and it's completely different. At Komos it's perfect every time!!

Love the customer service very nice people second time eating here and it was still great food even though they still forgot one of my toppings it still tasted just as good if I would have got the toppings

Good pizza and very friendly staff-wanted to try a "local" place instead of a chain I can get at home. Glad I did. Made it back after a year...still good pizza and staff!!! Go local! This time I also tried their brownies- Excellent and all of their desserts looked great and homemade (try that at your "chain.") Also found out they could have delivered to my hotel so may try that next time.

Komos actually receives a 2.9 however Google does not work in smaller increments. Please do not be discouraged, the pizza is a bit above average and it is certainly better than the main three chains. It won't knock your socks off though. I rate the pizza as follows:Crust 4.0, nicely flavored crust, actually the best part of the pizza, could be cooked a bit longer thoughSauce 2.0, not very flavorful, a bland sauce is as good as no sauceCheese 3.0, cheese is of average qualityPepperoni 2.5, some pepperoni can have an off taste to it, this was better than that, it's not terrible but there is so much betterItalian Sausage 3.0, you can tell it is higher than middle grade quality but not high qualitySatisfaction 3.0, after eating a slice you'll take anotherKomos has my recommendation as a decent pizza.

The pizza is excellent but avoid the "southern" style bbq at all costs. As a person born and raised in the south I can tell you that it is absolutely NOT southern style bbq. Stick to the pizza and you cant go wrong.

Staff are very friendly and willing to assist.Nice atmosphere.Good food.
